There is a place . . .
Where divers come together to compete like kids in a neighborhood sandlot game,
Where the fellowship of divers is more important than the hardware of victory,
Where the politics of USA-Diving are somewhere else in the universe,

Where a diver can come out of thirty-five years of retirement and
begin again with a different perspective,
Where the past is talked about like the future, and the horizon of the
future has many colors,
Where the pain of broken diving dreams are transformed into diving for
the joy of it,
Where winning feels good, but diving feels better,
Where the “diving family” is taken to a higher level,
Where those who can no longer dive, can dive,
Where the spirit and joy of diving is protected and preserved through
